The big caveat is that Babbel offers only Brazilian Portuguese. If you’re learning European Portuguese, look at Practice Portuguese or Português XXI instead. For Brazilian learners, Babbel pairs well with Anki for vocabulary and a weekly tutor lesson once you have a few months under you.
